So, I got my kids advent calendars for the first time this year. It has brought back so many memories of my Dad bringing these home for us when were young. Lindsay and I would always eat all the chocolates on the first day, while Shelley was much more responsible and only ate one chocolate a day. I, on the other hand, had no self control and was always jealous when Shelley had her chocolate left. Andrew has been a lot like me and really wanted to eat all the chocolate right away. Noah and Ella are satisfied with just one a day. It has been really entertaining to watch, and I am glad I brought this tradition back to our household. The kids have absolutely LOVED it. Thanks Grandpa George!!!

Yes, I couldn't ever just eat one per day. I bought them for us this year too, and Sabrina has liked it. I don't think she'll have self control either because she cries for more every time I get her one. Paul ate all his on the first day. I have already thrown his away.
I pulled a Charlie Bucket and would take one nibble of the corner of my piece for the day until I had it all done. What happened to those days? I'd like to bring back my inner Charlie Bucket. Maybe he's hiding in my lower "Charlie Bumcket". Sorry. anyway, I'm impressed you had 4 clean, happy, smiling children all in one place. What is your secret? I've tried it all, but I'm not as successful I must say. wish you were closer!
