Thanks Brian for the beautiful flowers and the chocolate! I absolutely adore flowers (and chocolate). Okay, so I'm a sucker for cliche Valentine's Day gifts, but I'm also kind of picky about it. I like red roses okay, but it is so traditional and boring. I wanted something a little different. This year I was really lame and actually printed out different flowers I liked from a floral website. I circled all the flowers I liked and told Brian to order whatever "circled" ones he wanted to get me. Women just expect men to know what they want on Valentine's Day, and men obviously can't read our minds. So I thought, I'll just give him a "not-so subtle" hint.
After almost 8 years of marriage, I think Brian and I are kind of in a "romance" rut. So I explained the other night that women just want to be surprised with flowers (or gifts) throughout the year at random times. Hmmmmmm...do you think he'll get it?? Brian is so supportive and great at helping me in so many ways and treating me like a queen that I guess I shouldn't expect flowers too much!
5 reasons I love my husband:
1. He makes 11 PM grocery store runs for me.
2. He calls me from work every day just to see how my day is going.
3. He comes home and takes the kids off my hands.
4. He is constantly asking me what he can do for me.
5. He likes Rush Limbaugh

Hey Natalie!
What a cute blog! I hear ya on the Valentine/husband thing! I have learned you just have to spell it out!! he he. Hope you all had a great valentines day!
Brian is great! All except for the Limbaugh thing! Just kidding...kind of.
Chad actually had my valentine for 1 week prior to the day, so he beat me! I was eating crow! Yes, we think Brian is awesome. You should have added #6: King of the One-Liner. Or possibly, replaced #5 with it. Limbaugh....seriously?
