My cousin Jamie tagged me, so here are the rules:
-Link to your tagger and post these rules on your blog.
-Share seven facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird, whatever you are brave enough to share.
-Tag seven people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
-Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
So here it is:
1. I am the member of my family who has always said "dumb" things. They all happened when I was a child; however, my family continues to make fun of me for saying a few stupid things. Here are some examples:
While driving past the temple- "Look Mom! It's the angel Moses!"
While driving past a very small pond- "Mom, is that the Great Salt Lake?"
Again, while driving- Mom: "Natalie, sit down, or the policeman will pull us over." Natalie: "He can't pull us over. He doesn't have a rope!"
And, while watching television and searching news stations to find a local news event Natalie: "It will be on channel 4 because it's NEWS 4 UTAH!"
Yeah, I was a stupid kid. Now you can all make fun of me!
2. I am a sucker for Gymboree clothing (only for my girls) and spend way too much money buying cl0thing that they won't wear for more than 5 or 6 months.
3. I can do really funny things with my feet. An example would be making my toes stick straight up while my foot is flat on the ground. Okay, did I gross you all out?
4. My kids are the greatest thing that ever happened to me, and even though I get frustrated with them a lot, I love them to pieces and can't imagine not having them. When I go anywhere by myself, I usually miss the kids after about 30 minutes and can't wait to get home to see them.
5. I was really mean to my husband in college (before we were dating) and introduced him once as "retard." Surprisingly, he forgave me and actually married me. I LOVE HIM!
6. I was a VERY NERVOUS child and was scared of everything. (crossing the road, earthquakes, driving through the canyon...you name it). I consider my cousin Mark a great friend for making me do a few risky things, and if it hadn't been for him, I may have ended up an old spinster with 30 cats!
7. My Mom, my sisters, and my brothers are my best friends, (next to Brian) and I absolutely love going anywhere with them. We can sit and talk about Jane Austen, movies, plays, grammar, politics, or anything totally random, for hours. Some of my best memories are late night talks with either my Mom, sisters, or brothers! I absolutely love that my family TALKS so much! We're really close and we really know each other because of it!

You always have interesting things to write, Natalie! Interesting and funny!
My favorite was the lake comment - that's hilarious!! Although I once had a roommate in Orem who didn't know Utah Lake was right there (she had worked in PG for 2+ years at that point). When referring to it on the way home from church one day (where we had a great view of the lake), she asked, "What lake?" At least you were a little girl!!! Where were you for Lishy's baby shower? I was hoping to see you there! Yes, we need to have a get-together soon!!
haha!Loved this post Natalie! I think its so funny that you had such a hard time with Brian before you started dating and now you're married! I need to catch up on all of my tags...they just won't be as funny as yours!!!:)
Nat, loved the tag. You weren't either a stupid kid. And you're a brilliant adult! I call you for advice all the time!
As adults, my sisters and I have all discovered that we were freaked out about driving up the canyon as kids. Do you think it is that we are all a bunch of fraidy-cats or do we just have parents who drive like crazy idiots. (I'm voting for the parents who drive like crazy idiots. Seriously have you ever driven with my dad before?)
