I can't believe how fast this year has flown. Today was Andrew's final day in Kindergarten. I want to give a shout out to his teacher, Mrs. Bittner. She is simply amazing! It has been such a privilege to have Andrew in her class this year. She has cared so much about him and his progress. I can't believe how much he has learned this year and what he has accomplished. I know it is mostly due to this incredible teacher, and I hope all his future teachers will be equally as amazing! Here are some pictures of the journal Mrs. Bittner put together for Andrew (and all the children in his class). I can't believe the amount of work that had to go into this. There are pages and pages similar to those pictured above, and there are also several pages of Andrew's work included. I'm ecstatic that I have such a great keepsake of his Kindergarten experience.
I also thought I'd include a picture of Andrew's first day of Kindergarten compared to his last day. After going through some difficult times with Andrew's development and wondering if he would need special education his entire academic life, he is now out of resource and is excelling in school. Thank you Mrs. Bittner for the wonderful school year. I don't know where we would be without you!

Sounds like Andrew had a great teacher. Today was my little guys last day of school as well. I really liked his teacher. I can't believe how fast this year went by. Our kids need to quit growing up so fast!
I am so glad Andrew had this great year. He is so much fun. We sure love him and are proud of him. I wish I could see you all more often.
Yeah Andrew! I can't believe that our boys will be in first grade next year. I am such a baby...I started tearing up when Grant had his little end of the year program and graduation. I can't believe how fast time flies!!!
Congrats Andrew! Nat, you aren't supposed to have a 1st Grader! Hallie starts Kindergarten next year. It is all just crazy to me.
He really has made a great progress. He's super Andrew! (and his sidekick is for sure, Noah!) Although, they probably disagree about which one is the sidekick....and Ella......well......she does her superhero work alone! That journal is great. My's teacher did one, too, and I thought, how many hours did you spend on each one? teachers are amazing!
He looks like a little man! Congrats, Andrew - you've come so far! I'm sure it's helped to have great parents, too...
