My baby can officially walk! Over the weekend, Ava really took off. She has been taking steps for about 3 weeks now, but all of a sudden, the confidence kicked in, and she is walking everywhere. This presents all kinds of challenges, my favorite being when Ava walks over to the television and turns it off, amidst her siblings screaming, "NO AVA!" Ella hit her once for doing this, and now every time Ava turns off the TV, she hits herself while grinning from ear to ear! Do we have Ella #2 in the works? I don't know, but I do know that Ava is sure starting to enjoy mischief and negative attention! We will see what the future holds!!

Congrats to Ava! Condolences to you! And to think we thought mischief was only for boys. I'm sad to miss those first wobbly steps. She'll be running by the time I get home.
I can relate to the sudden burst of mischievousness! Taylor thinks that it is SO funny to pull my hair and hit his brothers on top of their heads!! Good thing they're so cute right?!!
Miles has started to walk as well. He hasn't gotten as confident as Ava but I'm sure he will very soon. Cut pictures of her too.
Isn't it sad when your baby starts walking? Bree has taken a couple of steps, but still prefers to crawl. I'm sure it won't be long before she decides to take off too.
Yay Ava! She is so pretty Nat. There is no way such a sweet thing could create havoc! At least I hope not.
Wow! We are so proud. I'm wondering if I should check with the preschool teachers I know to see if I can get you one of the rope things they use for all of the kids to hold on to as they walk down the hall? Maybe that will help you to keep track of four on the move. Good luck, I think I have repressed my memory of that time, or maybe I kept you all locked in the basement and didn't go anywhere...who knows?

Wow, she's not a baby anymore! Such a doll. Hard to get mad at a grin like that!! What's your schedule like in August - can we plan a get-together at my house?
