5 Years Old

Okay, so I'm a couple days late, but better late than never. On Tuesday, April 20th, Ella turned 5. It's a shock that she'll be in Kindergarten in the fall. No child was ever more ready. At 5 years old, here are some great things about Ella:

-She acts about 10 years older than she is. She's been talking in complete sentences since she was about 14 or 15 months and has an amazing vocabulary.
-Ella loves anything girly.
-She wants to wear a dress or a skirt EVERY day. You may see some interesting outfits. Just know that her Mom is tired of picking that battle. :0)
-Her favorites revolve around what are currently her cousin Maya's favorites. For example, Maya's favorite color is blue, so Ella's favorite color is blue. Maya has perfectly straight hair, so Ella makes me straighten her naturally curly hair.
-She LOVES her baby sister and is really quite good at holding, feeding, and burping Sadie.
-Her favorite toys right now are Webkinz, Polly Pockets, Barbies, and anything Hello Kitty.
-Ella is a little attached to Mom. She still loves to cuddle up next to me while reading or watching movies.

We LOVE Ella! Her dramatic personality make life interesting and challenging at times, but she can also be completely sweet and loving. She's a keeper!
