It's been a LONG time

I'm sorry to say that my lackluster Blogging skills as of late are probably going to continue. I wish I could say that they weren't, but I'll be honest; Between piles of laundry, mounds of homework, my coupon obsession and feeding, bathing, and sometimes paying attention to my 5 kids, life is CRAZY! I'm hardly ever on the computer, which I suppose is a good thing, but it does mean that my blogging/journaling is definitely suffering.

So, we've had SO MUCH happening since my last post. School began again, and not too soon for sure. We had a great summer, but I was running out of ways to entertain my kids, and when I'm not on a schedule, I tend to procrastinate important things--laundry. My kids have enjoyed school thus far, and I'm pretty happy that they have great teachers and seem to be learning and thriving. Here are some first day of school pics:

Ava is in preschool at Monkey Tree Preschool (which is awesome!), Ella is in first grade in Mrs. Meacham and Mrs. Reid's class, Noah is in 2nd grade with Miss Bigler, and Andrew is in 4th grade with Mrs. Gustafson.

Also, Noah turned 8 back in August, and he was baptized at the beginning of September. It was a really great day. We had a lot of my family at the baptism along with Brian's parents, and Noah felt super special and was really excited. He DEFINITELY knows a lot more about the gospel than I ever knew at his age and is really a great kid. I couldn't be prouder of him.

The boys played soccer this year and will play again in the spring. It was really, really fun, and they both improved tons! They haven't really played soccer in the past and have been much more inclined toward basketball, but I think they have both decided that soccer is awesome!! I loved watching the games (despite some really psychotic, obnoxious parents :0).

And finally, Halloween!! It was crazy hectic as it always is, but we had a lot of fun. We went to the annual Pinson Halloween party, the ward Trunk-or-Treat, my Mom's Halloween party, school parades and parties, and Trick-or-Treating. When all was said and done, the kids were loaded with candy and had a blast collecting all of it!

Here's hoping November will be less crazy, but that probably won't be the case. :0)

Ava looks THA-rilled to be posing for the picture :) With 5 kids, I am impressed that you find time when you do...and funny, now that I have two, the obsession has begun for me too :) We need to go out!

It has been a long time! Your kids look great; love the Halloween pic of all of them, especially Little Miss Rolls Her Eyes...reminds me of my own 4-year-old.
