I had NO IDEA!

So, a few weeks ago, my friend Kelly called me and asked if I wanted to go to a day spa with her. Her husband had given her a gift card a year and a half ago, and she never used it. So, I said, "Sure! Why not?" We went last night to the Sego Lily Day Spa in Midvale. Neither of us had ever been before, so we were a bit apprehensive about it. We decided to get massages. Oh my heck! We had no idea how wonderful it is. I left the place feeling totally rejuvenated and relaxed. After the WONDERFUL massage, we sat in a "sort of" meditation room, next to the fireplace and just chatted. We don't see each other very often, so it was nice to catch up. We decided to make this "our thing" and try to do it once every 6 months or so. It is expensive, but I have to tell you, It is totally worth it. So, if you're a tired mommy, or employee, or whatever, you HAVE to do it. I can't see how anyone wouldn't love it!

I'm so glad you had a nice time! Every mom deserves a massage once in a while!

When I was pregnant with Aubrin I couldn't sleep because of back pain so I went and got a massage and I slept for three weeks before it started to hurt again! I loved it!

It's good to hear you got away and had fun with Kelly. There is no doubt you two deserved a relaxing break. I hope you sleep better for at least three weeks too. Love ya!

OK, Jeff has been on my computer and he didn't post that last comment, but I'm sure he loves you too. -MOM

You should go on tour of spas and give them ratings to recommend to others (i.e. me). I had a rough experience at a spa in Orem last Sep but I'm hoping it's just because I was largely pregnant and couldn't get comfortable with my twin tank upfront.
