Thanks Aunt Steph for the great idea! We had our first Smith family marketplace last night, and the kids LOVED it. My sister-in-law Stephanie gave me this idea. Throughout the week, the kids earn tickets for doing jobs around the house or their good behavior. Tickets can also be taken away for bad behavior or not doing what Mom asks. So, at the end of each week, we hold a marketplace, where the kids can use their tickets to buy items. (I went to the dollar store and purchased fun little toys. I also got a tub of laffy taffy's from Costco). This was very inexpensive, and very well worth it. The kids will help out with most anything to earn tickets, and my week has been MUCH better than previous weeks.

What a great idea! My kids would be so into that, we might need to use that idea as well...
Thanks for the idea Natalie!! I'm going to try it next week!
Haha, that's awesome. Those communists are crazy, capitalism rocks! :)
What a great idea! I bet they love it. I'm going to have to try that on Paul. He'll do anything for laffy taffy's. Just kidding!
Hey, what happened to your 100 things post? I loved it by the way!
