Yesterday, April 1st, was my Mom's birthday. Happy Birthday MOM!! I won't tell you how old my Mom is, but she is young. My sister called me and invited me to go with my sisters and Mom to dinner. I thought I would take Ella, just to give Brian a little bit of a break. We went to Mimi's Cafe, which I love. Despite Ella climbing all over me and Shell and under the table several times, and despite the waitress who reminded me of a really horrible nurse I once had, it was a good time. I love being with my sisters and my Mom. We all have the same interests, which makes it really fun to be together. We always have a great time and a lot of laughs.
I thought I would use this post to tell you all 10 great things about my Mom
#1- She LOVES her grandkids and always offers to babysit
#2- She has a really great testimony and has always made the gospel a priority in her life.
#3- If I'm having a bad mothering day, My Mom can always make me feel better about it.
#4- She puts up with the most sarcastic family in the world (next to the Williamsons!)
#5- She loves to read; therefore, I love to read!
#6- She always recommends the best books.
#7- She has devoted countless hours to teaching other peoples' kids and still has time to be a great mom and grandma!
#8- She is always prepared for everything. (camping trips, lessons, babysitting).
#9- She values education and has always let us know how important it is.
#10- She loves us and always makes us feel like we are great kids!
I love you Mom! Happy Birthday!
