I had such a great weekend in sunny St. George. I went with my two sisters, their two friends, and a sister-in-law. We talked and laughed a lot and just sort of relaxed. My older sister, her sister-in-law, her friend, and my little sis's friend all ran the Hurricane half-marathon. I'm nowhere near ready to run a half-marathon, and my little sister is pregnant, so she and I were the finish line picture takers. It was fun to watch all those gals finish their race, and they all did so great! I always love being with my sisters, and I have to say; their friends are hilarious!!! I'd say the comedy highlight was when my little sister told her Washington D.C. nanny experiences. We were all laughing hysterically.
We also watched Masterpiece Theater's Sense and Sensibility. I can watch that over and over and never tire of it. If you haven't seen it, you must see it ASAP! It is SO romantic. We were all crying at the end.
Anyway, it was a fun, refreshing, get-away. I really needed it!
This was a silly moment where my little sister, her friend Miller, and I tried on some hideously ugly prom dresses. I have to say, the near 30, mother of four in red got some really disgusted looks from the ladies working at the store.

Looks like fun Natalie! We are headed to SG this weekend for Alan's triathlon. Can't wait!! I love girls getaways! I especially loved the red prom dress...too bad Brian didn't see you in it! You and your sisters are all so cute. Glad you had fun!

I have never thought we looked that much alike 'til I saw that picture!!! Oh, my goodness. And seriously, it's a good thing your blog is private. I wouldn't want to expose anyone else to the "yellow maternity prom dress" nightmare!!
