Oh boy, where do I begin? It has been a CRAZY couple of weeks. First of all, I haven't posted anything because we have to get a new hard drive for our computer. So, I've felt totally alone in the world. We came up to Farmington today, just so I could check out blogs and e-mail, and let me tell you, our computer MUST be up and running by the end of this week.
I, of course, forgot to bring my camera, so I can't post any pictures of our last few weeks, but we are finally mostly settled. There are still a few random unpacked boxes, but after much shopping, we're mostly done. It's amazing how much moving costs. I threw away so much junk after we moved last time (ie. dish towels, rugs, brooms etc) that I have had to buy a lot of new stuff.
It's nice to have so much space. We have a finished basement, which means all the toys pretty much stay out of sight. The boys share a room in the basement, and the girls each have their own rooms upstairs. We FINALLY have Ava out of our bedroom, which means we can actually watch TV in our bedroom at night and just relax in our own space.
Mostly, the move has been good. I really miss our old ward, but we are slowly getting used to the new one (which, by the way, has 4 nurseries, so you can imagine how many screaming children there are). It's a little strange to be back in Utah County, which has changed DRASTICALLY since I left 11 years ago. It doesn't have the same small-town, community feeling that Farmington does, and I will definitely miss that. I am, however, already loving the proximity to my sister. I feel like I can call her anytime to drop off my kids, and she can do the same. We both know we can discipline each others' children, if needed, and we both love each others' kids so much. I'm REALLY happy to be close to my sisters and parents, and it will be fun for the kids to spend a lot of time with their cousins!
The other great bonus is that we are so close to Thanksgiving Point. I LOVE THAT PLACE! We are definitely getting a family pass there, because they have so much for the kids. If anyone ever wants to come down, with our family pass, our guests get half-price on everything. So, anyone in Farmington wanting a fun day out, let me know!!!

Yay!!!
We have already enjoyed your close proximity. Jack keeps asking when he can have the cousins over. Glad you're with us and blogging again. Let's do the Point this week.
Sure do miss seeing you around! Can't wait to see pictures of the new place!
Glad to see you blogging again! I wondered how you guys were doing. I love Thanksgiving Point too! You guys will have so much fun with your family pass!
I was getting soooo jealous reading this post. I can't wait until we are closer to family. It is crazy to come home and see how much "Happy Valley" has changed.
Glad you're in. You know that you can go to my house to check your blog and e-mail and whatever else you need. We have wireless and a computer at our house. Just call mom and ask her for the keys.
Glad you are getting settled. Wish we could of gotten together when we were in Farmington, but I guess we will just have to travel a little further to see you. We should try and get a few of us roomies together and catch up.
So no that you're down here... and after Ricks has her babe... I think that you girls need to train for a race together, and I'll tag along! I'm glad that you are back! I want to see pictures of your new place!
glad to hear you guys are doing well. We'll have to get all the girls from Farmington down there and we'll go to Thanksgiving Point together! That would be fun. Looking forward to seeing pics of the new place. I bet you're just lovin' all that space! =)
Where in Utah County are you?? Lehi, I assume? Someday, when I'm feeling brave on my own, I'll do Thanksgiving Point with you - they're one of my clients so it would be good to stop in and see them, anyway!
Nat..just thought I'd say "hello." Can't sleep, so I'm blog-hoppin' and finding that people are really busy these days. Give me a ring--I need to hang out again and we'll also nail down a day for book club.
