The Week in Review

This past week has been fairly eventful. Some of the highlights were:
Monday, October 20th:
We visited Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point and found out they were having their annual "Barnyard Boo!" It was really fun. The kids got to do several things, including: A wagon ride, frosting cookies, balloon creations by an adorable clown, and some different games. Here are some pictures of the event.

Wednesday, October 22nd:
My white kitchen table was defaced by none other than Ella Jane. Of course, she took a crayon and colored all over the top of the table. Luckily, I had a spectacular product on hand: The Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. How did mothers in the past ever live without this wonderful invention? It is by far the greatest cleaning item ever invented! I have before and after shots to prove its magical powers:

Saturday, October 25th:
We had the annual Pinson family Halloween party. I must say, I really despise Halloween. Since entering adulthood, I have thought of Halloween as the lamest holiday ever created. I will say; however, that I do enjoy dressing up my children on Halloween. Brian's family loves Halloween and has a party every year. The kids do love the party and it is very fun for them! I do love to watch the kids enjoying themselves and having fun; I just don't like ghosts, goblins, scary stories, or any other creepy thing related to Halloween. I just kind of think it's plain stupid, and I also have to say, we mothers have to deal with the sleep-deprived, sugared-up children as a result of the holiday. Here are some cute pics of the kids at the party:

This past week was full of fun little memories that I will never forget. As my children get older, I am still amazed at how much fun I have with them and how wonderful it is to be their mother. At times I think I take the opportunity for granted, but I do feel so blessed to be raising such amazing spirits and can't wait for the many more memories we will share together!
