On Friday, we went to Andrew's school Halloween parade. It was really fun to see all the ultra excited children. It was also an interesting experience to watch the teachers rush the children through the event as quickly as possible. Because I have quite a few educators in my family, I know that Halloween is the most dreaded day of the year for those teachers. Can you imagine dealing with 30 children who can't concentrate because the only thought in their minds is CANDY? I don't envy Andrew's poor teacher who was responsible for the education of 27 1st graders on Halloween. Yikes!
In the afternoon we went over to my Mom's house and had an early dinner. My Mom went all out and made "mummy" pizza, spider appetizers, and scary apple teeth. My Mom came up with some amazing Halloween ideas! She's such an amazing grandma!
Then we went to our ward trunk-or-treat, where the kids got loads of candy to add to the candy they had already received from Grandma Shar. We then went to my Grandma Irene's house and got more candy. We went trick-or-treating at a few random houses and finished the night completely worn out.
I'm sooooooooooo glad Halloween is over. I'm glad my kids had a great time, but I mentioned earlier that it is not my favorite holiday. I am looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas...some holidays with some meaning!!!
Everyone together!

Did you steal my pics? J/K!
YES Lin...I did steal a few pics. Sorry...I didn't have any pictures of the awesome food!
Thanks for appreciating and taking pictures of the food since it was too weird for the kids to eat it. I did have fun, however and I am thinking up ideas for next year. Hopefully I won't be back in a school on that dreaded day, but taking the day off to have fun with the grandkids again.
I loved mom's beastly feast! Maya did, too! I am glad you have had such a fun October. I wish we could have done more with you on Halloween. Blasted holiday! At least we got to feast and have a good time with Mamma Shar.
