Ava decided today to pull out a hat and sunglasses and sport this style. She's hilarious.
I have to say (again while knocking on wood) the "new baby transition" has not been so bad. Of course I've had LOADS of help (Thanks Mom, Addie and Paul, Shell, Lin and Brian). Today is only my 2nd day of going it alone, and actually Shelley has had 2 of my kids the majority of the day. But, Sadie is a decent sleeper, and although she wants to be held constantly, I enjoy that. My ankles are still swollen, but seem to be getting smaller every day. Also, the pain from surgery has been fairly minimal (far better than my last 2 c-sections). So, I will count myself lucky and hope things continue to go well. I'm loving my 5 kids and can say that I'm looking forward to the next phase in life (the never-to-be-pregnant again phase).

Nat,
I'm glad everything is going so well. Your kids are so cute. Thanks for letting us visit yesterday.
What a precious little bundle! Oh the newborn-ness! I just love it! Congratulations! Isn't it wonderful to NOT be pregnant?!
So happy for you that you can have your body back and never have to get pregnant again - yay!!! She's so beautiful - just like all the others. Congrats again!!
She looks different every time I see her! Tell her to stop growing right now! Ava is a crack up too!
