On Sunday the 14th, we celebrated Andrew's birthday at the Smith Grandparent's house. All the Aunts, Uncles and cousins showed up, and it was great to see them all since we've been MIA since Sadie's birth. It was nice to catch up with all of them.
On the 15th, we took Andrew, Noah and two friends to the Jazz game to celebrate Andrew's birthday. May I just say, boys ages 6-9 are REALLY, REALLY hyper! They had a great time cheering, eating, and telling jokes. Brian and I had a great time listening to their comedy. It was actually really fun. I'd do it again.
On the 16th, we just had a simple family celebration. Andrew got Legos and a Wii game (NBA 2k10.) We had dinner, cupcakes and ice cream and played the Wii. Andrew is really good at it. He usually figures everything out after only a couple games. I don't get how kids pick things up so quickly. I try to master the games over and over, but to no avail.
We haven't celebrated with the Ricks side of the family yet, but we will do that next weekend along with our Easter celebrating.
In any case, we're so happy to have Andrew as a part of our family. He's getting old so quickly. I realized the other day that he is half way to 18; half way to adulthood. Scary.
Happy Birthday Andrew. WE LOVE YOU!
