I can tell she's grown A LOT. At 2 weeks she was 7 lbs. 11 oz., so I'm guessing she is at least a pound over that, if not more. You can tell when you look at her pictures that she is filling out.
I like this picture. She is holding her finger up as if to say, "Excuse me. Waiter."
Sadie is a sweetheart. I wish I could hold her all day, but even with the oldest 3 kids in some form of school during the day, Ava lets me know that she will not be forgotten. We see a lot of this around here:
This child is doing anything she can to get attention (mostly negative attention). We're seeing much more hitting, slamming doors, tantrums etc. The poor girl knows she has been dethroned. I'm trying really hard to give her tons of attention, but it doesn't seem to be enough to satisfy her. Oh well. This too shall pass.Ella loves Sadie and wants to hold her 24/7.
And the boys love Sadie as well and also love to hold her. I don't have any pictures of them holding her, because they usually hand her back to me after about 30 seconds. They are just nervous about it. However, Noah is constantly saying, "Sadie is the cutest baby ever!" And, as soon as Andrew comes in the door from school, he's asking me how Sadie is doing. She is definitely a loved kid, even when she is up all night long.

Sadie is the sweetest little thing! I hope that Ava finds her place in all of this soon...for your sake and hers. You have had 5 kids for one month, you are a pro now.
FYI: You asked a long time ago how old Taylor was now. He turns 14 this year. Can you believe we are that old?
So cute! When we get better, I'll pay baby Sadie a visit, and take Ava off your hands for a little bit.
Ok you have got to love the look in Ella's eyes as she holds Sadie. These are great pictures, Sadie is changing daily so keep them coming.
I sure like that one. And, she IS loved by the kids (they made many remarks about her and how great she is when they were at my house the other day). By the way, they need to come again. Send ava too. She's not doing you any favors these days, and she's great for us! Maybe playing with Nols will make her appreciate her own home more! this is shelley. i am at moms.
