Sadie is finally starting to cruise around the furniture and lets go once in a while to stand on her own. She's a little parrot and loves to imitate just about anything you say to her. The kids are thrilled when they tell her to say their names, and something sounding sort of like their name comes out of her mouth. She's also starting to throw tantrums. She hates getting out of the bathtub and only puts up with it if she can take a toy out of the tub with her. She's also starting to protest going to bed at night. It's tough love around here. I don't usually have a problem letting her cry it out, unless she gets her leg stuck between the slats on her crib, which she has done several times. Then I'll rescue her.

My sister in law Steph had her baby boy on Feb. 11th, and her family has had to deal with quite the ordeal. Baby Anthony was born with a rare heart defect called Transposition of the Great Arteries and has been in the hospital and had surgery to start his little life. We're all so grateful that he has had fabulous medical care at Primary Children's and that he's now on the mend. He'll be in the hospital for a few more weeks, and then he'll be able to go home with his family for a few months before his next surgery. I'm pretty sure he's the most adorable baby boy in the world. I wish had pictures. We just love him and the Hepworths!
Valentine's Day was fairly low key. We had sick kids for 2 weeks straight, so we were home on V-day. Each of the kids got a bag of treats and a new toy for V-day, which they were happy with. I've never understood those people who give their kids loads of toys for Valentine's Day. It's not Christmas! Anyway, we also had a nice FHE that night about loving each other and serving each other.

Brian gave me new shoes for Valentine's Day, which thrilled me to no end. I think I made a comment about cheap grocery store flowers a few days before V-day, and he thought he probably shouldn't attempt flowers. Ha ha! Shoes were a wise choice!
I can't think of anything else to report, other than we're healthy again and the kids are all back in school. The February blah's are upon us, and we're anxious to get to March and warmer weather.

Glad that we are on the books to go out in March. Hopefully the kids stay healthy and we can venture out. Props to Bri on the shoes! :)
I wish Brad would have gotten me shoes......:)
