Seasonal Affective Disorder?

I'm not sure what has happened to my very sweet little Ava. In a matter of a month, she has gone from this:
(Toddler with a smile on her face ALL THE TIME)

to this:

and this:

and this:

Maybe it's Seasonal Affective Disorder, but it's more likely that she's on the countdown to age 2, and I'm sure there is plenty more of this behavior to come. I was hoping to avoid it altogether, as the last child was REALLY difficult at this age. But Nope. It looks like we have Ella #2 on our hands.

I know they call them the "terrible twos" but I think it should be the terrible 20 months to 3 years old. That seems like it might be a little more accurate.

We've been experiencing the terribleness here, so I feel your pain.

Those pictures are way too real. She is so sad. It is so hard being 2...don't you remember? I wish you luck with all the temper tantrums. I am sure you are super frustrated, but as an outsider the pictures are actually quite funny!

what a coincidence...Taylor is doing the EXACT same thing! I think I can agree with the comment above about the terrible twos being more like 20 months to 3 years!! Hold on tight-I think we're in for another bumpy ride!! :) Ava is adorable!

She might be turning naughty, but she is still so adorable!

Just when I start to think I might be ready for kids I start hearing more and more about the terrible two's. It's worth it right??? I know it is. I'm not scared. And, she's adorable even when she's sad.

All too familiar! Are you sure she isn't crying because Sabrina was leaving her out? Please tell me 3 is better!

This too shall pass and then you get to be a grandma. This is definitely the best time as a parent.

I understand your pain Natalie. Bree has changed so much this month. She's right there with Ava. Our kids are so much alike!
