Chubby Gal!

Sadie had her 9 month doctor's appointment yesterday. I'm in shock that 9 months have gone by so quickly. The stats were interesting. The kid just keeps getting chubbier. We LOVE it! She's by far our chubbiest baby. She weighed in at an even 19 pounds, is 28 inches long, and her head...well, it's big (not surprising). Anyway, her weight is a little over 50th (about 60th) percentile, her length is right on 50th percentile, and her head...90th percentile. :0)

I checked back through my other kids info., and they were all (except Andrew...14 pounds at 9 months, but that's another story) in the 17 pound range at 9 months. Anyway, I was surprised because usually once my kids start moving a lot, their weight increase slows down a lot. Not Sadie, which is fabulous. I've always wanted a chubby baby, and now I have one. YAY!

At 9 months, our little chunky monkey is finally sitting well, almost crawling (gets up on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth), says Mama and Dad (and knows what they mean), eats A LOT of food, waves bye bye, has 6 teeth, still has major stranger danger, and LOVES to sleep. It's hard to watch her grow up but is fun to see her reach each milestone. We LOVE this kid!!!
